Blue Balls Rules

Outright Blue Balls Winner (OBBW)
  1. To be the outright winner of Blue Balls 2009 you must first get into the finals.

  2. To be able to get into the finals you must finish within the top eight on the ladder.

  3. The highest person on the ladder is the person with the most sets won (a set winner is the person with the most games won after the 30min session)

  4. A winner of a game is the first player to 9 points.

  5. When the bell rings to signify the turn around (after 30mins) the person with the most points wins that game.

  6. You must record your points score for all games.

  7. If after the 30mins you both have the same amount of games won, the person with the biggest win margin wins the set.

This year for the first time there will be a

Minor League Winner (MLW).

  1. To be the MLW you will need to be the person with the biggest win margin in all games (according to the roster) played.

Example: Diego is on the roster to play seven sets. Whilst playing those seven sets if he easily beats his opponents by a bigger (%) margin than anyone else he will be crowned the MLW.

Contrary to rumours it is not bad sportsmanship to try and bib the organisers.
